Twitter is a website, owned and operated by Twitter Inc., which offers a social networking and microblogging service which enables its users to send and read other users' messages called tweets.

Why should I have a twitter account?

Social media networking is the next big thing for most of the people at present. Many believe that this form of socializing is a great option as it enables you to interact with people from all over the world, make new friends, learn heaps and share you views and interests with the people you meet on these sites. Twitter is one such site that has become very popular among the online community. There are quite a number of reasons why you should also have a Twitter account.

How do I create a tweet (post)? Delete a post?
Fill up the "What's happening?" then click the Tweet button.

How do I reply to a tweet?
click the reply button.

How do I manage my tweets?
go to ur profile then then click the LIST.

How do I search for a person/organization to follow?
click the search button at the right side to search for a person/ organization

How do I follow a person/organization?
Just simply check their profiles and then click follow.

How do I 'unfollow' a person/organization?
How do I manage my followers?
Just click the List then create a new one. Its your choice to manage them.

Twitter and it’s features

1. Twitter allows you to send and read other users updates (known as tweets)
2. Twitter messages(tweets) are limited to 140 characters (microblogging)
3. You can send and receive updates via the Twitter website, SMS(text messages), RSS (receive only), emails or a third party application.
4. You can restrict delivery to your circle of friends (delivery to everyone is the default).
5. You can use third party application such as Tweetie, Twitterrific, and Feedalizr to send Twitter messages.
